Laya Healthcare needed to put in place a disaster recovery solution that would protect the business in the event of their head office being unavailable for any reason.  Protection was required against everything from:

  1. Commonplace technical issues
  2. To a full disaster scenario

The new disaster recovery solution protects Laya Healthcare by enabling the business to carry on trading as normal as a result of any kind of disaster.

Savenet put in place:

  1. A fully managed disaster recovery solution that gives Laya Healthcare the ability to recover from anything from local malfunction on Virtual Machine, a hardware failure, a ransomware attack or localized disruption, to a total disaster where their building and comms room is destroyed.
  2. The solution also allows users to access their applications from anywhere, they simply log into their virtual desktops and carry on.

Laya’s web site, which is their main customer trading interface is also part of the DR solution.
