Microsoft measures your security posture with three scores: Security Score (identity and policies), Device Security Score (endpoint protection), and Vulnerability Score (system weaknesses). These scores show how well your tenant is configured compared to Microsoft's recommendations. We maintain your scores above 85%.
Initial implementation takes 2-4 weeks and typically brings scores to 75-85%. Over the following 6-12 months, we continuously improve scores to 85-93% through incremental implementation of best practices, patching, and hardening policies.
Most security features are included in Microsoft 365 Business Premium or E3/E5 licenses. If you're on a basic plan, we'll assess what's needed and recommend the most cost-effective licensing. Higher scores (above 90%) sometimes require additional licenses we'll discuss with you.
We monitor scores weekly. If we detect a drop, we investigate immediately, it could be new devices, policy changes, or missing patches. We remediate the issue and restore your scores. This continuous monitoring is included in the service.
